Fairfield Union High School – 1992-1995

Ben graduated from Fairfield Union High School in 1995 and went on to run for Ohio University on scholarship. Ben’s College Coach was Elmore Banton, who was a NCAA I National Champion in Cross Country He coached numerous All Americans and Numerous All MAC Champions, Team and Individual.

• 8 time varsity letter winner in Cross Country and Track
• 6 Time All MAC (3 in Cross Country and 3 in Track)
• NCAA Division I All District Cross Country
  A member of the 1997 All MAC Cross Country Championship team Was Freshman of the Year in the MAC, 1996
• Second All time fastest 3000m Steeplechase for Ohio University
• Multiple time All-MSL in track and cross country
• Multiple time All-District in track and cross country
• Multiple time All-Region in track and cross country
• Div II State Runner-up in Cross Country
• Div II State Runner-up in Track (1600 meter)

• Steeplechase (3,000 meters) – 9:00 (2nd fastest in OU history)
• 5,000 meters – 14:30
• 5 miles – 24:45 in cross country
