Fairfield Union High School – 1995-1999

Rob Myers graduated from Fairfield Union High School in 1999, and then went on to run for The Ohio State University on a full scholarship. Rob has had the opportunity to be trained by 3 time Olympian in the steeplechase, Robert Gary, while at OSU. Rob has also worked with one of the most successful 1500 meter coaches, Ron Warhurst from the University of Michigan. While at Michigan Rob trained with Olympians Nate Brennen (Cananda – 1500 meters) and Nick Willis (New Zealand – 1500 meter Olympic Silver Medalist in 2008). Rob is also a sub 4 miler (3:53 Mile PR / 3:34 1500 Meter PR) and 3-time USATF champ! USATF is the USA Track and Field Championships and this is THE title to win!

  • Sub 4 Minute Miler (3:53 Mile PR / 3:34 1500 Meter PR)
  • 3 Time USA Indoor National 1500 Meter Champion (still holds the USA indoor nationals 1500 meter meet record of 3:40.77)
  • 2 Time Indoor USA World Championship Team member
  • Outdoor USA World Championship Team member (Semi-finalist in the 1500 meter run)
  • 3rd place in the 2004 Olympic Trials 1500 meter run
  • 9th place in the 2008 Olympic Trials 1500 meter run
  • 2 Time NCAA All-American
  • 2 Time Big Ten Champion in the 1500 / Mile
  • Multiple time All Big-Ten in the 1500 meter / 800 meter runs
  • Big-Ten Freshman of the year
  • 3 Time State Champion in Ohio (1600 / 800 / Cross Country)
