Camp Information
The 2024 Myers Running Camp will be held from July 10 – July 13, 2024. This will be an overnight camp, located at Camp Oty’Okwa near Old Mans Cave in beautiful Hocking Hills, Ohio. The camp is an Ohio cross country overnight camp, open to all students entering grades 7-12 in the fall of 2024.
Our Mission
Myers Running Camp is an Ohio cross country running camp for mid-distance and distance runners. Our mission is to help young athletes involved in track & field and cross country improve their technique and overall training performance. Over the years, we have had the unique opportunity to be involved in these sports at all levels, high school through international, as both athletes and coaches. Now, we would like to share our experiences and assist other aspiring athletes on their athletic journeys.
Our Goals
Our mission will be accomplished through a “learning and training” approach to running. Campers will be introduced to various training methods and drills used by elite athletes and then have the opportunity to practice those techniques alongside high school, college, and elite athletes.
Our Activities
Have the opportunity to run on trails and gravel roads with other campers and counselors. You also will be given instruction and the chance to participate in drills and exercises to improve and supplement your training. We will also have a ton of fun at the campground, activities include: pool, volleyball, hiking, kickball, and much more.
Learning
Our campers will also have the opportunity to hear speakers from the various levels of college programs, including college coaches and athletes. Along with the college level exposure, we will have world level athletes, running shoes specialists, and our featured athlete Rob Myers. Other Camp Activities Include: Proper running form drills Core strengthening drills Warm up drills Stretching drills General strengthening drills Cross training drills Camp counselors who are current college runners will be in attendance to work with the campers and lead group runs.
Camp Registration

Myers Running Camp Registration is done by time frames, as well as Individual and Team Camper options. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have questions.
Early Registration - Deadline - June 7, 2024
Individual Early Registration: $350 per camper. Team Early Registration: $335 per camper, when you have 5 or more from the same team.
Late Registration - Deadline - June 8 - July 5, 2024
Individual Late Registration: $375 per camper. Team Late Registration: $360 per camper, when you have 5 or more from the same team.
Last Minute Registration - Deadline - July 6, 2024 until the day before camp.
Individual Last Minute Registration: $400 per camper. Team Last Minute Registration: $385 per camper, when you have 5 or more from the same team.
The Myers Brothers
Rob Myers
Rob Myers graduated from Fairfield Union High School in 1999, and then went on to run for The Ohio State University on a full scholarship. Rob has had the opportunity to be trained by 3 time Olympian in the steeplechase, Robert Gary, while at OSU. Rob has also worked with one of the most successful 1500 meter coaches, Ron Warhurst from the University of Michigan. While at Michigan Rob trained with Olympians Nate Brennen (Cananda – 1500 meters) and Nick Willis (New Zealand – 1500 meter Olympic Silver Medalist in 2008). Rob is a sub 4 miler (3:53 Mile PR / 3:34 1500 PR) and 3-time USATF champ!
Ben Myers
Ben graduated from Fairfield Union High School in 1995 and went on to run for Ohio University on scholarship. Ben’s College Coach was Elmore Banton, who was a NCAA I National Champion in Cross Country He coached numerous All Americans and Numerous All MAC Champions, Team and Individual.
Chad Myers
Chad Myers graduated from Fairfield Union High School in 1992, and went on to run for Otterbein College. While at Otterbein, Chad won the 10,000 meter Div 3 All-Ohio Title, and was a 10,000 Meter OAC Champion. Chad was also an assistant track and field / cross country coach from 2002-2006 for The Ohio State University track and field and cross country teams.
